Frequently Asked Questions

Will VoIP still work if our internet goes down?
If your primary internet connection fails, calls will too — just like any internet-dependent service. We mitigate this by configuring failover to a secondary connection or mobile data backup, and by enabling softphone apps on staff mobiles so they can still make and receive calls on the business number.
How does VoIP call quality compare to a traditional landline?
On a well-configured network with adequate bandwidth, VoIP call quality is indistinguishable from — or better than — a traditional landline. Poor quality is almost always a network issue, not a VoIP issue. We assess your network before any installation to ensure it’s ready.
How much could we save by switching to VoIP?
Most businesses moving from ISDN or hosted PBX reduce their monthly telephony costs by 40–60%. Call costs are significantly lower, line rental is eliminated, and adding extensions doesn’t require expensive hardware. We can model a comparison against your current bill.
How disruptive is the switch to VoIP?
Minimal, when planned properly. We provision and test all hardware before installation day. Number porting is managed to coincide with go-live, so your existing numbers transfer without downtime. Most businesses are fully operational on the new system within a single working day.
What happens to voicemail and call recordings when someone leaves the business?
User accounts, voicemail boxes, and call recordings are managed centrally through the admin portal. When a staff member leaves, we reassign or archive their extension and recordings as needed. Nothing is lost unless you choose to delete it.
